Paul puts two paths before the Galatians in these verses. You can take the path of slaves, or you can take the path of sons. In essence, he says, "In Christ, you are sons and not slaves, so act like it!"
1. You are sons not slaves (4:1-7)
A. Slaves becoming sons - 4:1-5
B. A downpayment on a future inheritance - 4:6-7
2. So act like it! (4:8-11)
